Our Space
Located in the FIMS and Nursing Building (FNB, Room 3020) at Western University, the FIMS Graduate Library welcomes all FIMS graduate students, faculty, and staff to use our spaces and resources. We are an academic community space with quiet or low-level conversations in the main area – ideal for focused study or collaborative work. The library features open table seating, study carrels, and bookable meeting rooms, along with unique spaces like a creative makerspace, reading room, and outdoor terrace.
Accessibility in Our Space

- The library is on the third floor and can be reached by elevator.
- The service desk in the library has sections with lowered countertops.

- The document scanner is also positioned on a tall counter.
- The shelves are full height, with the exception of the recent acquisitions (on a rolling cart by the stacks) and children’s collection (in the Reading Room).
