Makerspace is a term that refers to “a space that has been designed to allow users to create, build, and learn new projects and technologies” (Bagley, 2014, p. 1).
In keeping with the Graduate Library’s mission, various makerspace tools are provided to suit users’ educational needs and advance the use of information and information technologies. The FIMS Graduate Library currently maintains a collection of the following resources:

- 3-D Printer MakerBot Replicator Mini (out of order)
- Little Bits
- MaKey MaKey
- Arduino
- Legos & Tinker Toys
- Raspberry Pi
- Button Maker
- Basic sewing materials
- Basic embroidery materials
- Basic knitting and crochet materials
- Cardstock in a variety of colours and sizes
- Adhesive vinyl in a variety of colours
- Markers, paint, scissors, glue guns, glue, etc.
