You’re invited to join us for a special beading workshop on Monday, May 12 from 1–4pm, taking place on the FIMS Grad Library terrace.

This workshop is being facilitated by Melissa DeLeary of Northern Star Kwe Creations and is held in recognition of MMIWG2S (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People). It’s a time to share space and learn together through the art of beading.

During the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to learn beading techniques and create a keychain or pin to wear in honour the lives and legacies of MMIWG2S.

FIMS faculty, staff, and graduate students are warmly welcome to participate. Space is limited, but there are some spots left!

Please register by emailing fimslib@uwo.ca
